Hunt Civil has an extensive network of suppliers supporting its business and is itself a supplier to other businesses who’s end client are local councils or TFNSW.

Our core business is the supply and installation of road signage including large sign structures and overhead gantries, minor sign posting and electronic static signs.
We also supply and install guard rail, pedestrian
bollards, fencing and speed humps.
A growing part of our business is civil works for signage structures and VMS boards being installed by the client. We are highly experienced in drilling and building sign foundations, setting hold down bolts and building custom designed foundations with complex steel reinforcement placement.
Other services include line marking, hatching and
installation of preformed thermal road patches as used in disabled parking, bike lanes and pedestrian crossings.

As the principal north-south route between Campbelltown and Windsor, the Northern Road is a key link with the M4 Motorway and the future M12 Motorway. Its multi-stage upgrade is part of the government’s $3.6 billion Western Sydney Infrastructure Plan to improve access to this rapidly growing region before the new Western Sydney Airport at Badgerys Creek opens in 2026. This 3.8 km component involves widening its two undivided lanes to a four-lane divided road, including a kerbside bus lane in each direction. The scope encompasses significant civil, structural and road works including 13 bridges (4 standalone and 9 with no separated median), 3 main box culverts, U-turn facilities, intersections, interchanges, a 300m long cutting, major utility relocations, vehicle breakdown bays, a heavy vehicle inspection bay and extensive modifications to local roads.
Traffic management is a crucial component of the construction, with the works being constructed on and around operating roads and adjacent to live traffic.
Hunt Civil were contracted to supply and install all signage including Type 6 mast arm signage and a Cantilever Sign Structure.

Under TRN, Hunt Civil has provided 3 major sign structures on the project with a combined value of 465k. Drilling was undertaken by Hunt Civil contractor Tahmor Earth Boring. Installation carried out by Hunt Civil crew over three consecutive day and a night shift. Hunt Civil was also tasked with removing the existing overhead gantry sign which was removed under nighshift and a contr-a flow style set up.

The project included a direct local connection between Windsor Road and Richmond Road, and was implemented by Roads and Maritime Services (RMS) on behalf of the NSW government. Hunt Civil were engaged by Fulton hogan to install signposting and manufacture a large cantilever drectiona; sign pictured above. The Operations manager from Hunt Civil was onsite to oversee the drilling operations undertaken by Tahmor Earth Boring. The drilling was into hard rock and took two shifts to reach the design depth. The structure was installed after 28 days with the foundation reaching the design strength.

Hunt Civil has been engaged by Complete Line Marking to undertake signposting works across 67 locations in the Georges River Council precinct. The work involves the installation of new No Stopping, No Parking and Disability Parking signs whilst there are also removals of existing signs. Some sites require line marking and sign posting. Works are due to be finished by the end of the year.
Hunt Civil has been engaged by Jagdale Constructions to fabricate and install a new sign structure on The Northern Road at Baulkham Hills. The work involves the construction of a new foundation in a new location approximately 20 meter from the existing. The sign needs to relocated as part of development works by the Jagdale Group who are developing residential apartments on the site.
Hunt Civil currently has vacancies for sign installers - Experience in signposting is not essential as you will be give on the job training. Applicants must have the following as a minimum.
